On June 4, during the Wind Energy Sector Forum organized by the Basque Energy Cluster, Jose Ignacio Hormaeche, General Manager, presented the different European projects the association is a partner of and in which is carrying the communication, diffusion, and exploitation package.
Among them, the DURABLE INTERREG project was presented. Jose Ignacio argued that the goal of DURABLE is to accelerate the performance of renewable energies through the validation and demonstration of aerospace technologies applied in robotics for the operation and maintenance activities of wind and solar energy systems. The application of this technology will automate inspection and repair tasks, reducing costs and favoring production.
