Advanced technology to boost the use of renewable energy.

The European project DURABLE will apply drones and robots to accelerate the performance of wind and solar power in the Atlantic region.

The CHALLENGE

Drones and maintenance robots for the promotion of renewable energies

DURABLE aims to boost the competitivity of the local renewable energy (RE) sector in the Atlantic area, by improving regional energy production conditions to mitigate global warming. To achieve that goal 13 European partners will work together to meet the objectives.

This project will apply disruptive aerospace, robotic, non-destructive inspection and additive manufacturing technologies to evolve towards a better development in the operation and maintenance (O&M) of wind and solar energy parks.
